"We just finished up our 2007 fair and what a great year it was. One of the reasons I believe was due to the Jungle Island Zoo being at our 2007 fair, we found it to be a better draw than we had anticipated. Fair patrons were normally lined up to view the exhibit of animals that were well kept and constantly cleaned up after. We were supplied a great selection of exotic animals as promised by Bill Coburn, and he and his employees were easy to work with and were very knowledgeable, always willing to answer any questions asked of them. The needs of the exhibit were few and easy to fulfill. It was an educational experience for all who saw it."

"In 2007 the Marion County Fair contracted with Jungle Island Zoo for a side attraction at the fair. We were pleasantly surprised at the popularity with fair-goers to the attraction. Not only was it enjoyed by children, but adults as well.

"Ohh"..."Ahh"..."Oh my goodness, look at that darling kangaroo"..."what kind of an animal is that?"..."isn't he cute?"...and the comments didn't stop about Jungle Island's Petting Zoo.
Children weren't the only ones in the tent that were having a great time; their parents AND the animals were all "bonding".
This exhibit is definitely a "hands on" and friendly experience for the fair!
A very special addition are bags filled with sand and various kinds of rocks to pan for treasures one finds after sifting out the sand and finding many surprises hiding in the sand.
The Secretary of the fair most always hears the good and bad comments regarding exhibits at the fair. I have only heard positive comments and I believe that this is and outstanding exhibit and one which we are certainly glad we invited to the fair!

"The Mercer County Agricultural Society contracted with Jungle Island Zoo, LLC for the 2007 Mercer County Fair. The petting zoo was a very big success with our fair visitors.
We received nothing but compliments on the petting zoo. The personnel working the petting zoo were friendly and helpful with all those visiting. They kept a neat and clean display area with 15 different kinds of animals. After the fair, they left their area as clean as when they first arrived.
Young and old enjoyed the petting zoo. Some visited it more than once a day and/or every day they were at the fair.
The Mercer County Fairboard looks forward to working with Jungle Island Zoo again."

"Our Vacation Bible School contracted with Jungle Island Zoo to come for an evening as part of our Holyland Adventure. Kids today just don't have much exposure to animals, so we thought this would be a great addition to our program. The Zoo Crew was FANTASTIC! They exceeded our expectations by far. They were patient with the kids, explaining about the animals numerous times to numerious groups as they came through. The adults were surprised at the amount of new information they walked away with - they soon realized it wasn't just for the kids! The animals were clean and well cared for. The baby camel and the joey were very successful and they snake certainly made an impression! Kids are still talking about it months after the event."

They were fair-minded and very responisble! When we first heard the price, we were a little hesitant, but the event was well worth it. They certainly put on a quality display."
